We have retained much of the traditional ‘Willenhall spirit’ which embodied the previously successful Sports College and insist that we all continue to live by the community values of our ‘Willenhall Way’.

Scifest 2013 event @ University of Wolverhampton,Spark your curiosity, by attending the Scifest event at Wolverhampton University this Saturday 22nd June 2013. This is a FREE day long event to celebrate Science and engineering at our local univiersity. It is a fun packed day with many Science shows and amazing activities especially for our Budding Scientists!. There is lots to do and see and more importantly it gives our young people and their parents an opportunitiy to experience univerisity life and what is on offer in terms of courses! Celebrating good CitizenshipStudents in Year 8 are currently completing self assessmnets for Citizenship. These help me to form a judgement for their End of Key Stage 3 Citizenship levels. Students also have the opportunity to celebrate their good Citizenship for anything that they do outside school by taking a 'Community Involvement assessment sheet' to be completed. Any Year 8 student who is part of a group (e.g. Cadets/Scouts/Sports Groups) or who regularly helps elderly neighbours or relatives should take a sheet from myself or Miss Butler when we visit their form and get it completed by the leader, relative or neighbour. Book FairCome and see our amazing Book Fair visiting Willenhall E-Act Academy the 17th June until the 21st June. There are over 200 titles for you to browse through and with fantasy, thrillers, non-friction, comedy and many more starting from only £1.49 there's sure to be a book for everyone to enjoy. The Book Fair will be located downstairs in the Year 7 block and will be open break times, lunchtimes and afterschool. All books are half price so come and grab yourself a bargain! Year 11 Students on Study LeaveYEAR 11 STUDENTS are now on 'Study leave'. They are to prepare for their remaining exams during the half term week. Students have already been given a letter with details of the revision sessions (English, Maths and Science) running during the half term break.
